MeadWestvaco Sets Date to Release 1st Quarter 2011 Financial Results

MeadWestvaco Corp. (MWV) said it will release its first quarter2011 results on Wednesday, April 27, before the market opens.

In a release on March 31, MWV said the news release and slidesfor the results will be available on MWV's website at www.mwv.com.

The company will host its first quarter 2011 results conferencecall on Wednesday, April 27, at 10 a.m. (EDT) with access availablevia Internet and telephone. The event is scheduled for one hour.

John A. Luke, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer; James A.Buzzard, president; E. Mark Rajkowski, chief financial officer; andJason Thompson, director, investor relations, will review theresults. Following the review, questions will be taken fromregistered analysts and investors.
