Fed: Branson says Aust govt most interfering in the world

CANBERRA, Feb 28 AAP - Australian governments interfered with business more than anyother governments in the world, British entrepreneur Richard Branson said today.

"Governments in Australia interfere with business more than anywhere else in the world,and sometimes to the detriment of competitors," said Mr Branson, the owner of budget airlineVirgin Blue.

Virgin Blue has been touted as a potential buyer of the collapsed Ansett, which hadbeen seeking a merger with the budget airline.
