SA:P-plater nabbed at 201kmh

ADELAIDE, Feb 11 AAP - A teenage P-plate driver has been nabbed doing more than 200km/h
in South Australia's north.

Police said the 17-year-old was stopped on the Quorn Road on Thursday afternoon travelling
at 201km/h in a 110km/h zone.

He was arrested and charged with driving at a dangerous speed, breaching the conditions
of his probationary licence and failing to stop.

The youth was bailed to appear in the Port Augusta Youth Court at a later date and
had his V8 Holden ute impounded for 28 days.
